NEW LJ PROSPECTS WITH THE SSJ SISTERS- KIM, CATHY, ESTELA AND FELMA

GOOD NEWS!  At last, we have started to invite young women workers, single, married, in whatever state of life, and friends to join the journey to NAZARETH. Among the Talleres de Nazaret shops in the Philippines, we are the last batch to join the group of our lay partners, the LAY JOSEPHINES.

 

Together with the Friends of Bonifacia and those interested members of the Talleres de Nazareth here in Cebu, who could avail their minimal time once every third Sunday of the month at two o’clock in the afternoon, we also invited outsiders from among our co-parishioners, neighborhood and new friends to join us as SSJ (SIERVAS DE SAN JOSE) partners. Our first gathering with them happened last June 21, 2015. There were 14 people in attendance. We started off with the introduction of the origins of the Congregation of the Siervas de San Jose and with the life of our founder/ foundress: Fr. Francisco H. Butinya, SJ and St. Bonifacia Rodriguez Castro.

Our second meeting was on July 19, 2015 with some 10 people able to make it despite their hectic schedules. This time, we started with an input on the Josephine Spirituality. What the identity of the Lay Josephines is, etc, etc… We hope to continually meet with our lay partners every month. We also hope and pray that they would eventually commit themselves as LAY JOSEPHINES from Cebu.
